Mission Statement

Accessible Chicago offers the first interactive, particpatory website for travelers in Chicago. As a 501c3 non-profit corporation, our purpose seeks to combat the isolating feelings of physical disability by bringing those with physical challenges to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Chicago, IL. This is accomplished in two ways. First, we allow user input from those with disabilities, their caretakes and educators on how they enjoyed or disliked their Chicago experience. Second, we allow the business community to openly welcome those with disabilities through our Resource listings, Advertising programs and Window Sticker campaign.
