Victory Gardens Theater Greenhouse at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL  As part of the Crip Slam Sundays, which promotes Disability Culture in Chicago,  this Theater Access Project features innovative readings, presentations and live performances by and about disabled people. The Victory Gardens Theater welcomes those with physical disabilities, and the theater is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $10.00, and that includes a reception afterwards.  Medieval Cripples A presentation and discussion of two short comic medieval plays featuring characters with disabilities, "The Boy and the Blind Man" and "The Blind Man and the Cripple," moderated by Professor Edward Wheatley, Surtz Professor of Medieval Literature, Loyola University. Hosted by Todd Bauer.Join in for this fascinating historical look at societal attitudes about disability. This event will be captioned, ASL interpreted and audio described.
